SALZBURG

Haus Susanne is just a 40min drive from Salzburg City Centre. Salzburg
is famous for its Mozart connections but there is much more on offer.
From the Prince Archbishop's trick water fountains, to Salzburg Zoo to a
Sound of Music tour, people of all ages can enjoy the city. The castle
fort and cable car ride give excellent view points over the city. In
the evening there are plenty of restaurants and classical or modern concerts
to enjoy.

MOUNTAIN SPORTS

Mountain biking is an especially popular sport around the valleys and
mountains of Salzburg. Summer lifts can take you and your bike to the
top of a mountain to either take the sensible route down or to follow the
downhill circuits used by the World Cup circuit. The area is also famed
for its road cycling routes as Salzburg also held the World Championships in
2006. Cycles can be hired locally along with cycle tours for
intermediate level and above.

The Adventure Centre Flachau offer fully guided and qualified instruction
in all kinds of mountain adrenaline pumped activities. The centre is for
people of all ages and offers family activities or singular activities.
ACF offer (among many other things) white water rafting, pot-holing, canyoning,
hiking tours, paragliding and quad biking.

GOLF

Did you know that Austria's 140 golf courses are of the highest
international calibre? Wherever you choose to stay, you can expect to find the
highest standards in golf course management, restaurant catering and luxurious
comfort. But above all, experience the warm Austrian hospitality. The
Alpine golf card is available to purchase. This includes reduced green
fees for any of the courses within Salzburgerland and a little beyond!
Radstadt has it's own short and full course which boasts its own cable car to
take you to an elevated tee.
WATER SPORTS

There are plenty of places to get wet! In and around Salzburgerland
there are fantastic family and adventure pools and health centres. Flume
tubes, slides, indoor and outdoor pools are all standard. If you fancy a
dip in a lake then take a tour of the lakes surrounding Salzburg. Diving
lakes and sailing courses are just some of the sports available.
