The Austrian Alps offer all types of riding for all types of rider! Haus Susanne is 20 minutes away from 2
different downhill mountain bike parks (Wagrain and Schladming), a minutes ride from the Ennsweg which winds its way around the valleys
all the way to Linz and on the doorstep of trails and popular road bike routes. There is a comprehensive guide available to local routes with
varying length and difficulty.

BIKE PARK WAGRAIN
Having undergone a massive upgrade and extension in 2015, Wagrain bike park now offers decents from the very top of the
'Mozart' lift. The bottom half of the park is mainly set in the forests whilst the new top half is a mix of exposed
flow riding and forest trails. There are many different trails of varying difficulty although the new top run has been black graded.
Guides and lessons can be booked, bike and full safety equipment is available at the bike park.

PLANAI PARK SCHLADMING
Planai is a world cup downhill park. The park hosted the world
cup for many consecutive years before letting it go to focus on
the ski world championships. The park is the longest in
Austria with a 1000m decent. With many different trails for varying skills. The flowrider and blue runs
are great to gain confidence. The 'jack lumber' trail is a testing north shore ride.
The park also has a pump track, a kiddy super park, a dirtpark
for the greatest airtime and a biker cross track on the last
slope to valley.

MOUNTAIN BIKING
Steep climbs or valley trails there is a something for everyone. Local bike trails
can lead you up to over 1000m vertical climb to hidden mountain huts overlooking the valleys or you can take a more genteel
approach and coast the lightly undulating Ennsweg accross the valleys.
